The family of Dr. Burdon left a memorial
gift to help in the construction of the Washburn Library,
and assembled a museum of the artifacts of this doctor
who long practised in the Lowpoint-Washburn area. An
interesting display of early medical practises is presented,
and it is well-worth setting aside some time to peruse
it for insights into life in the early part of the 20th
Century in Washburn. |
